Who is the
Progressive Traveller?
Growing up in Brisbane Australia, I was never a big traveller. Outside of a few family holidays which were mostly road trips, I had no international travel experience.
When I was 17, I won my first trip overseas to Japan for selling the most Seiko watches in Australia. In 2001, I met my husband who has always been an avid traveller. On our first year together, we went on a 4-week vacation in Rome, France and England. Since, when we have not stopped travelling.
I quit my full-time job after deciding I wanted a different life! Back then all I knew is I wanted to travel more, experience other cultures and meet new people.
My passion for travel journaling for my family and friends morphed into a business. Sometimes, I have to pinch myself to make sure I’m not dreaming. Being a travel blogger has changed my life and how I think about the world. Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer.
